Bogota, Colombia, has the thriving gay life, including a large gay pride parade in June, as well as over 80 bars and clubs. Gay Colombians even have the option of a same-sex civil union with legal benefits, and the city government supports the annual pride parade.
Bogota also surprises visitors with its culture, including the famous Gold Museum, one of the largest and most impressive pre-Colombian collections in the world.
